Yes, I have that as well.Originally posted by cojak View PostWhat's your setting under Privacy > History?
Actually I have under Security:
'Remember passwords for sites' ticked...
Under IE, I can remain continuously logged into a site, like this one when I start a new session. Firefox doesnt do that for me. It ends my session when I close down the laptop.
when I start a new session on the laptop, although FF remember the username and password for each site, I have to log in to each site, something I dont need to do in IE.
Im just wondering if FF is designed to operate this way. All the settings I can find including those on a web site are set (to my mind) to keep me logged in, but im not!

Firefox
OK switched over to Firefox but Im finding it doesnt retain my login to sites when I open a new session as per IE.
Is this a deliberate function of Firefox? On a site that needs my login it, it presents them when I type the first letters but is there anyway you can set it to it doesnt need re entering every time?
In tools, options, privacy, settings, I have it set to not delete active log in nor saved passwords.Tags: None
