My Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX500 is fab.
Easy to use or complicated if you want it to be!
I have no complaints, and would recommend it.

That reminds me of a tip I read on DPreview or similar a few years ago. The advice was to go for a manufacturer with long experience in quality lenses, and setting them up properly*. Leica definitely fits that bill.Originally posted by Clippy View PostWhich is what the Panasonic mentioned earlier is - a rebadged Leica for less money.
* just because a camera has a bought in top name lens doesn't mean the associated software is all that good

More pixels is by no means a guarantee of a better picture.

Apart from that, it looks great and the titanium body shivers me timbers!

I bought a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX33 in the spring for £130 which is a great camera.
It was quickly superseded by the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX35 but I wasn't fussed as the big price difference at the time didn't warrant the few additional features.

DP Review said that it was better the Fuji tested, which surprised them as Fuji is usually excellent...

I've heard Sonys are not good in low light conditions.Originally posted by cojak View PostTa VF - did that and they came up with this little beauty - perfect!
Don't know if this is true for all their cameras.
