    Or even VGA - you just need the appropriate adapter to convert it from DVI (which you need anyway if giving presentations with the average office or conference venue projector).

    Looking at treating myself to a PowerMac in the new year, but don't really like the look and spec of the Apple Monitors

    Do you *have* to have a Mac Monitor? Or can you plug into any old one?
