These bulbs can be dimmed easily by painting them black. The dimmer you want, the more black you add. Simple.

Just change the bulb for a more energy efficient (lower power) one.

Bzzzzt! wrong! They can be dimmed, but required a special ballast, dimmer switch and - potentially - special wiring.
Google around, there's plenty of info on this.

They cannot be dimmed. Try wearing sunglasses indoors for a similar effect.

Anyone got these to work together yet?
I bought 6 wall lights, fitted them and then realised that the bloody energy efficient bulbs wouldn't work with my dimmer switch!Tags: None
