Personally I am with Demon but look to move as they are a little pricey for what I am getting. Previously I was with www.aa.nu and they were sh1t hot. As many static IP's as I wanted, a domain name with email etc, a phone call away, invoice and bill ontime and very very reliable....now that they have lowered prices, I'm going back
Even though some providers say that you can get 8mb, do not be fooled. You'll only go as fast as your local exchange will allow, so do a check before.

I second the Zen recommendation. Very reliable service. Not the cheapest, but you definitely get what you pay for.Originally posted by PRC1964Oddly enough, "cheapest" and "most reliable" are rarely found together.
I have used Zen for years now. They aren't the cheapest, but I can't think when I last had a problem.
For £24.99 you get 8Mb. It is limited to 20Gb but you'd need to be doing some serious downloading to get through that much.

I have BT Total broadband 6meg line (actually about 4.2meg). £24.99 a month and no problems with it at all.

Yep, I have Freedom2Surf.
Excellent reliability, £20pm/8mb/20gb limit (which I haven't come close to hitting and I'm a linux person...)

Does it have to be ADSL? My cable line (NTL, now Virgin) has been very reliable over the last 2 years - i.e. Zero outage when I've wanted to use it.

My mate runs Nine Telecom and they are pretty good. £16 - 8mb/s (actual 4.2mb/s) Very cheap although I get it at cost. Before that I was with Virgin and they they were fine. Went down 5 times in two years. Not particularly quick, but ok price wise.Originally posted by TazMaNI use Eclipse and they are absolutely tulipe. I pay £19/month for 1Mb line, unlimited downloads, but it's unavailable often enough to me to warrant leaving them now.
I'd want unlimited downloads with at least 1Mb speed.
Anyone particularly happy with their ISP?
