As for MS losing their position, it's number 1 or 2 in the cloud depending on what market you are talking about. For sme it's number one due to ease of setup and is the only cloud used at the $xbn client i was at today.

Azure cost of test development website.
Does anyone know what the monthly cost will be to get an Azure pay as you go subscription but only for development testing, so there will be no traffic. Effectively I only need 2 or 3 web applications ( web sites or whatever they are called ) and 2 - 3 very small databases for these web apps. So no VMs or heavy traffic.
Personally I think charging developers even to be able to test their cloud service is just another confirmation that Microsoft are loosing their game faster and faster.Tags: None
