I have a friend who bought the Oneplus 2 and he loves it, although he said that he's started getting problems with the battery running down too quickly... he had that with his last phone too though so he thinks it might be something he's doing to make it happen.

I have a Oneplus X and I'm really pleased with, it's hands down a better phone than the Lumia 930 it replaced.

I don't remember there being an update or fix - it's not just me, though. There were some posts on the forum and someone I know who has the same phone had exactly the same issue.

I liked the OnePlus One a lot, and have updated that to the latest version of Cyanogen just in case I have a problem with the current phone so I can go back to something else. Although when I upgraded the OPO, because the phone was encrypted, it crashed and needed a factory reset to get it working again (a known issue, but I hadn't seen it or backed it up beforehand!)

Edit: Oooh, shiny new update on my OPT to upgrade to Android 6.0.1 (but it'll lose my fingerprints). Time to get it downloaded...

I did hear lots of people have had problems with the OnePlus 2, but with me being the optimist I'm hoping they've learned from the problems and have made sure it doesn't happen this time around.

I ditched my OPT because it kept freezing all the time after the a software update, and I had to keep rebooting it (reboot time isn't stunning either).

If the 3 is likely to be the same, then I'd avoid it - I went with a Nexus 6P in the end because I needed something reliable rather than having to switch it off when I was mid-conversation.

1+2 got good reviews, it just wasn't all it might've been and the 'flagship killer' name was overly optimistic. I saw it widely reviewed as the best budget smartphone it just isn't an iPhone 6s or Nexus 7. If the price drops it could be a real bargain - I'm not after a flagship phone.

1 +2 haven't gotten much favourable reviews as such especially from a camera point of view. I believe it has heating issues too (though a software update may have helped fix that). Also, it doesn't have NFC which would be useful and fingerprint sensor is a lot better in 1 +3

Was looking at it yesterday and it appears very good. I'm on the 1+1 atm and could justify a new phone. Given that there is no way I'm willing to pay anything close £600 for a phone it's definitely an option.
