    It's also a case of you get what you pay for. Working with 2 different French consultancies in the past 1 UK permie was usually as effective as 2 Frenchies....

    To provide equivalent work I used to waste all week and code from 3-5pm on a Friday....

    French rates are usually considerably lower than UK ones, so you should be able to undercut them. Of course, should Brexit happen, you won't be able to do anything with them.
