Engineers USB Toolkit
Scenario,
You've just got a shiny new USB 3.0 64GB pen drive.
What would your tops apps be to store on it, for IT Support.
Also would you put a bootable image on it ie Win 7, Hirens, Mini XP
look forward to your responses.

Never had a problem accessing OneDrive, and I often need to get to my Outlook.
EAC it's perfectly legal to make a copy of a CD you own, I tend to buy the CD then immediately back it up as my car is deckless (I think that's the term) and media centre gets stuff from home server.
I think I need some sort of RSS agregator to access my various feeds.

most places I've worked restrict both USB and access to cloud drives, so never been able to utilize something like PortableApps.

I've only worked in one place that restricted the software I installed on their machines. Can you not replace the USB with say drop box and install from there? When you leave the client just uninstall?Originally posted by cojak View PostUp to 3 years ago I used PortableApps on a 32gb USB constantly. It was critical to my working day.
But clients' IT departments have locked down USB ports and so I have changed my working practices and have moved to iPad, myco mobile wifi and Dropbox.
ALL of my USB's are now languishing in a draw and 32gb has some financial archive folders stored away.
Bye bye Portable Apps.
