Trying to renew my MSDN Universal subscription - gave up on the MS website, phoned up and ended up in Bangalore, five minutes of repeating and explaining what I wanted (their sole aim being to find out my first name and using it in every sentence without actually helping me), and then got through to a little tinker in Eire who said they were busy and will call back in 5 minutes. Normally 6 to 8 weeks, but some will still get through as the regulations don't apply to off-shore cold callers, many of whom seem to be calling from the US.Originally posted by xoggothA bit hilarious anyway. We got a cold call today. When does this frigging telephone preference service start working??????????????????????????????? Or is one call instead of 8 considered as working?
