Word Associations is more educational than 90% of the drivvle that is spewed in General.
Learnt about the Borgias this week, and a couple of other things I wiki'd after seeing something in the Word Association thread.
Leave it where it is.

Ditto for "Currently Listening To........." and "Currently drinking ..."
If "One-A-Day", "Please put more jokes here", "List your invented "fake facts"" belong in L-R (which of course they do), so does "Word Associations".
And, while you're at it, remove the sticky from "test please delete". Leaving a closed thread at the top of the forum is silly, and cruel since the last one to post on there was popular with the members and banned.
For weeks there's been talk of "changes are coming".and

User. One. Singular. Don't let the facts get in the way Admin.
Expressing my opinion. Poll was supposed to see if others felt the same way.
The problem with 'we've always done it this way' is complacency. There is nothing wrong with challenging the status quo IMO.
But as you don't want anyone to do it. I'll not raise the subject again.

Standard trolling techniques there, MF. Of course you got busted
- Identify some long-standing aspect of the forum that is widely accepted by the community;
- Attack it, claiming to offer reasoned arguments as to why it should be condemned;
- Hope that steps 1 and 2 provoke an argument.
Marks out of ten:
- Innovative trolling technique: -10
- Amusing trolling technique: -10
- Concealment of trolling intent: -10
Overall assessment of attempted trolling: epic fail

You have been fairly sporadic in your attendance here I will admit, but you were posting in 2006, when the thread was started, so why wait 4 years to complain about it if not to simply wind up other forum members?
You complained on the one a day thread about porn being posted on there and have driven other users away with the full-on onslaught of your posting style. This is not the MarillionFan show, it is a forum for all its members and you would do well to remember that.

It's ok to post fukking drivel all over General. Another fantastic piece of moderation.

NF. You cheeky git.
This is not a troll for trolls sake. This WA thread gives the impression that said posters have something to say! Bit like the TPD thread.
The idea of a post count on a forum, gives an indication of post count and therefore can infer quality. I gave Toolpusher a little gentle knock because he had 6000 odd posts. Little did I know that 5500 came from one thread. TP chastised me for assuming he was a quality poster as he said that LR posts didnt count.
Others are the same. 10000+ posts, mostly drivel word games. Gives the impression of something to say.
Not after a reaction. I reckon, that the majority(not the 10 or so on the list of course) will say move it to LR!
Let's see tomorrow. The vote will start -10!!!Last edited by MarillionFan; 8 April 2010, 07:02.

It was a moment of comic genius, it must be said.
The following have given the impression that they have something interesting to say on the forums. Move it to LR IMO and right a wrong!
