Teatotal since the late 70's.
I didn't have a drinking problem!
I drank, I fell down, No problem
No seriously, Alcahol inhibits the senses and uninhibits the sense.
I get Nasty if I drink so I don't drink at all.
Sorry I lie! I have a Tablespoon full of sherry on my Blackforest gateux at Christmas every year and thats it.

200 units a day means getting up at 9am and having a shot every five mins before passing out at 11pm assuming you don't do anything else!

Litre bottle of spirits 40 Units. 280 units per day, 1960 per week!!!
No one drinks that much surely! Recommended limit is 28 per week and alcoholism (dependency) at 50 units per week.

Having two young children i rarely get the chance to go out on the booze any more. I'll occasionally have a vodka or two if it has been a long hard day, and now and again at weekends. Now and again i'll open a bottle of red for cooking and feel obliged to have a couple of glasses as well.
However, when i do get the chance to go out I tend to take advantage of it and knock back a good 30 units. I'm old enough to know when to stop so that i'm not sick now though and I don't let myself get out of control, just merry
