    Could be even worse!

    BP have confirmed that :

    1. All agency contractors will need to go PAYE
    2. All 3rd Part contractors based 100% at BP from Engineering / IT Companies will need to be PAYE.
    3. Considering going HSBC route, only PAYE on long term engineering & ops support contractors based at 3rd party supplier premises!

    the company “will not increase rates” to compensate contractors for any loss in their take home pay that might occur as a result of the change in policy.
    Glad I am retiring this year. BP are already paying 2 to 300 a day less than a decade ago anyway.

    That’s how it should be.

    The agency has the contract with the worker, not BP.

    There would be uproar if a Worker got given notice directly from BP - which is effectively what’s happened here
