    Less additives (Iodine for instance), its apparently used for removing blood from the surface of the meat hence the Kosher description.

    I always wonder what kosher salt is. Whenever I watch these American foody programmes like Triple D, they always talk about kosher salt. I'm sure it goes beyond the scope of what would be acceptable to a Jewish person...
