Happy to say have reduced the gap from the winter 11 weeks down to 5 weeks - new gig from Monday 2nd June.
For me the ideal gap between contracts is 2 weeks after that my "productivity" on my personal to - do list plummets! Mind you in this bench period I have enjoyed every kind of good and freaky weather that has hit the south.
The main reason the gap was longer than 2 weeks this time was I was tempted by some permanent jobs, luckily I turned them down as they were not lucrative enough, despite the upturn in the permanent job market.
oh and this time I remembered to tag it - need to make the "boomed" entry on the tag cloud bigger...
