Alternativly relocate to the Isle of Man, or the Channel Islands ( if they'll let you in).
Taxes are not going to go down in any appreciable amount no matter who is in government.

The only long term solution is to join the 10M Brits looking to relocate abroad to a better quality of life.

The Conservatives' postion on tax is surreal.
By not saying they will cut taxes, they're implying that they're perfectly happy with Gordon Brown setting taxation levels ad infinitum.
