    That's where the term is too overloaded. Valid license means not expired (as in you're over 70), not revoked, valid for the particular vehicle, etc.

    An of of date photo doesn't make it invalid. If it did you'd see warnings of it all over the place instead of only seeing warnings for £1000 fines. If your license was really invalid you'd end up with points on it - but an expired photo is not endorsable.

    The Eek jrs have those from a visit 4 years ago. They continually claim to be able to drive cars because of it....

    Personally they are going nowhere near my 184bhp mini.....

    The Swiss authorities sent mine back to Swansea when I swapped it for a license here.

    And sent them an accompanying letter in German.

    I'd love to know what Swansea made of that.

    I wasn't optimistic that they'd understand a word of it.

    I have a double sized pink and green one with no photo and runs out in around 20 years. The address on it is also a c/o of where my brother used to live. Really should get it changed but when I get stopped by the police they take one look and just tell me to be on my way

    I'm also entitled to drive categories K and L
