The MoD says it has had to pay Ferguson the market rate for her services – she was recruited from Capita, the government's support services provider.

It is understood that Ferguson is on a short-term contract and a member of the civil service will eventually take over the post, at a much reduced salary. But it is not clear how long she will be in the role, and the tasks she has to undertake are huge, long-term projects.
The way I read it she is a direct hire. If she was a consultant from Capita they would not need to disclose her rate. So whilst an agent may be seeing some of that I doubt its £1.6K to Capita and £400 to her. I should think she resigned from Capita to take the role.

But then you experts might believe different.

Some People are most definitely worth large amounts of money, for example M$ without Bill or Dell without Michael prove the point beyond doubt. Not seeing her skill considering her previous posts.

As others have mentioned, she's not even a contractor so she won't be seeing that £2k a day. She might be on a good salary and bonus because of her high chargeable rate but I doubt it's anywhere near £500k.
As demonstrated by this thread, if UK contractors fail to understand this what chance do the great unwashed have?

well yes good on her but..

£2k per day means she earns approx £40k per month - which is about the average yearly salary

so is she aactually 12 times better than the average person my answer would be no she is not

she is probably great at the BS and bullying but has limited skills her self
