Obviously the status quo must be the best option then, because, that way, everyone is certain about everything economically in the UK for the next 10 years or so
I thought the whole point of having the bloody vote was because there were "uncertainties"?
Whilst my own feeling would be that we should just stick with the status quo, I can't see what difference it will make to BP.
Regardless of the outcome, they will simply continue to make a tulipload of money out of bringing oil ashore and selling it to the highest bidders.
Many "arguments" on economic effects are about as valid as those on leaving the EU. The reality is that nobody really knows. I doubt either will make a darn bit of difference in the long term, the success of a country depends on its own people.
