    Thank you.

Yes, I did mine in the 80s and it got me into university.

I am middle class myself. So try again.

And, for the record, little boy, I have an OND in Food Technology so I at least know what I'm talking about here.
Oh my. An OND? I stand corrected in awe of your academic gloriousness. That's almost as serious a qualification as Nail Technician.

It was perfectly documented under EU rules of course, no problems at all with the paperwork
    We're importing chicken from CHINA?

    I've heard it all now...

I won't touch anything unless it's locally sourced, free range and organic.

Just another middle class "it's not 'natural'" fool. Like that woman on Dragon's Den rambling on about how the health drink was terrible because it wasn't using all-organic fruits and "you can't possibly claim organic isn't better".
    Stop being mean....

Though it is worth pointing out everything is made of chemicals.

Still, that's what I expect from meddlesome, weasel faced busibodies like you.

While what I sometimes eat doesn't always chime with the views of the health fascists because it may contain a greater or lesser degree of (shock, horror) fat, sugar or salt, I do at least like to choose what I use to poison myself with.

Plus the infrastructure. If it was made in a factory the day before and kept refrigerated, there's no reason to think it won't be as good as food you'd make yourself and reheat, or even a takeaway. The image of "ready meals" is that they're weeks old and full of processed crap to make them pass food safety tests.

Yep - I picked up some stuff in the Tesco Finest range the other day and, to be honest, it was as enjoyable as most things I'd cook from scratch. It was an oven meal rather than microwave, though - not that it's any healthier.
