What will happen with the Royal Navy for example - I doubt they'd want any shipbuilding done by a foreign nation so presumably all that work will come down to Portsmouth or Barrow.

What about France building aircraft carriers?

I'm sure the Navy will suggest a coastal town, but some MP will want the jobs in his constituency and we will end up with having to dredge a canal.

That's why Portsmouth lost the work for more orders recently. Poor quality.
