Aha ! Well I was gonna avoid Central London at the weekend but Harrods Santa wouldn't be too shoddy ! If I give it a go i'll post pics in new year ( what will happen now is I will get in then i'll be the one who loses my bottle )
Don't forget, there are mikes and secret cameras everywhere you go in Harrods.
and Mohammed Fayed is reputed to sit in a room full of screens, stroking a white cat ..
We went to Harrods a few years ago (could be 4, could be 5). In the queue in front of us was a family, youngest child 27......
They had all been going for 32 years and nothing was going to stop it.....
Mind you the £240 of afternoon tea they bought immediately afterwards probably justified the embarrassment of the staff...

I have tried to get my Mum to take me to three different Santa grottos in the past fortnight and she won't let me queue to sit on Santa's knee !
Mind you, given the dirty looks the grottot "elves" were giving me, their obvious lack of a sense of humour convinces me I wouldn't of made it past them anyway !!!
Packing up now to go home for the Xmas break : how much am I looking forward to pushing Mum's wheelchair round
a) the shopping centre for her to finish her christmas shopping
b) the push round the supermarket at the weekend ( she doesn't want me to do an on-line delivery)
c) the Boxing day sales
Still, im sure I was more of a nuisance as a young un than she is now so fair dos
Hope they have a great time - Merry Xmas
