    It's a laptop environment. Also it's a 24/7 environment.... I left yesterday. I could have stayed until the end of the week, but as there was no work available, I duly left as soon as I could get my head around the tulip experience. Not the first time, and surely not the last time I'll take on a tulip role, but I am now more wary of going direct.

    I wasn't given the chance to do the job. I could have pretty much started to do the work this week. Clientco didn't want to find out.
