Yes it was a nasty business, and I hope the survivors make a good recovery.

Tragic for those killed/hurt - very upsetting.
On sky news an aviation "expert" suggested mechanical failure very unlikely and suggested more likely was someone firing shots at the helicopter. Apparently it has happened before. If true I hope the mob gets them before the police do.
New team member starting Monday from the Glasgow office and I know he was out at his leaving do Friday night. I hope he is okay.

A bit too close to home for me and I really don't appreciate any so called humour.Originally posted by russell View PostBan this sick asshole please.
Haven't heard from my mate who's usually in there Friday's and Saturday's with his wife listening to bands, not expecting the worst but worrying anyway.

So far they've gotten the kegs of Tennants out of the cellar but they haven't been able to get the Buckfast or the scotch yet...
Was in a pub in Glasgow last night and it was utter chaos, Smoke everywhere, People screaming. Fighting ,spilled beer and men trampling each other in a blind panic to be free, Then to make matters worse a ******* helicopter crashed through the roof.
Shocking news unfolding on our TV screens right now from Glasgow.
Hundreds of Scots leaving a pub before last orders.
My thoughts go out to all those affected by police helicopter crash in Glasgow
In fact my thoughts go out to anyone who lives in Glasgow
Emergency services trying to free people from the bar in Glasgow that a helicopter crashed into have said progress is "difficult."
I'm not surprised. Have you ever tried getting a scot out of a pub after 10 pints?

RIP to those who died.

Quite sad, pub would have been very busy at that time. I can only think the helicopter was trying to land at the junction.

This time last year (and if it wasn't for the Roddy Frame tour next week, this year) we would be staying at the holiday inn opposite for Christmas shopping.Originally posted by Cliphead View PostA pub I've played in many times over the years. I don't know if any friends were there last night
Can only hope that a lot of people got out uninjured and just went home...
