As it's a 5 minute drive from the tip to my house this would mean she knew I was on my way back the moment I left the tip.

How do dogs do this kind of thing?

And why can't she pick me out 6 winning numbers?

    Fookin spooky, like.
Can we just look at this without Suity Anthpromophic Specs:
    1) Suity goes out to tip.
    A) Dog doesn't give a Tulip
    2) Suity farts about at tip
    B) Dog Doesn't give a Tulip
    3) More stuff happens with Suity
    C) Dog gets on with doggy stuff including thought passing through its mind...
    "I think I need a tulip"
    - In the past when Dog has needed a Tulip he has noticed that if he sits by the door the fat arsed chunt that seems to be in the same location appears making odd noises and grunts but also opens the thing that seems to block the dogs way out to the place where he likes to tulip.
    D) Dog goes to sit by the door on the basis that at some point the FAC will appear
    4) Suity does more stuff at the tip
    E) Dog continues to sit by the door having doggy thoughts
    5) Suity gets home
    F) Dog goes for a tulip

Being a simpleminded lower order animal without the ability for cognitive thought processes.............. Suity makes an entirely spurious cause-effect link between unconnected events.

Or Suity drives an old banger, and the dog can hear it backfiring as he starts back from the tip

Well yes. Factor this in smart arse. The compactor at the tip was broken, so all and sundry had to use the big containers which means climbing a big flight of metal stairs. Folks getting in other folks way, dropping things. The queues were horrendous and the whole thing took far longer than usual.

    Explain that hemorrhoid boy.
