Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed they were called out and a woman was given advice about her behaviour - but denied she was threatened with arrest.

A spokesman said: 'At no point was she threatened with an arrest. The policemen gave the woman advice and left it at that. It is not appropriate to comment any further on the matter.

'We are aware of community tensions on the estate and are stepping up patrols with a visibility police presence.'

One neighbour, who witnessed the dispute, said: 'She went outside and confronted them and there was a very heated argument - insults flying about all over the place. I tried to calm things down but it just got worse.'

Of people filmed committing crimes. Be they Police or Public.

Fitting people up (which has always happened) will become more difficult. Just as CCTV has prevented many miscarriages of justice including Plebgate.

Never actually got to threaten to shoot anyone thought Did training with SA80s etc but never actually used them in a real situation.

With the advent of wearable technology such as google glass, everyone will be recording everything.

The police will then start recording to counteract public recordings / accusations

It seems a bit Orwellian & a concern is that everyone will start acting nice in public out of fear, which will lead to repressed resentment, which in turn leads to all sorts of mental tulip

The local litter wardens already have shoulder/chest mounted cameras. They wander around the highstreet issuing £75 fines for anyone dropping a fag end.

All the time though, I guess it might be good idea as it will help with clarifying what happened. Sounds like it might be harsh for the police though - presumably only relevant bits will be accessed and videos of them on the toilet etc will not start appearing on the web.

I am sort of expecting the recording to be encrypted and accessible only by authorised personnel.

It would fix stop & search being racially biased and I was tasered / assaulted a police office while unconscious events.

not that when caught red handed the Police would actually fire anyone.

Yes but that is already standard procedure when you are threatening to shoot someone.
