Use a cheap ancient AM transistor radio to detect main cables in your wall. Better than any specialist detector.
If the missus is annoying you by watching Strictly Come Dancing turn on an ancient video sender, kills a modern TV signal stone dead.
Old squash balls make excellent stops for your sectional garage door.
PS Did you know you actually don't need to plug in the cable to connect a TV amp to your TV? Put the end of the cable anywhere within about 2 feet of the socket and it works.Last edited by xoggoth; 17 October 2013, 21:13.
