What I don't get is that the country and media are in uproar over £50-£100 energy bills, but nobody seems to care less about the £800+ a month most of us pay for rent or mortgage.
But it does provide an element of energy security, rather than importing more
Its a stop-gap until something else can be found before my great-grandchildren are born. After that, I suspect the lights will go out - permanently. Well, until they can get this fusion stuff sorted.
Naah. The energy companies came out a while ago and said fracking wouldn't impact the prices significantly. Perhaps this was some play so that the current company would give up making way for the big six take over. hmmm

Let's get on with fracking, then we can have a significant discount from ourselves.
Npower have just cut my bills. Maybe they'll announce a 10% rise tomorrow, but it's true that they have cut them slightly which is not according to the script.

Not bad. Considering that the ones below the UK probably get a significant discount from Russia.

Interesting when you factor the taxes in.
Germany paying more than UK overall, but purchases from market for far less than UK. The rest is tax.
Wouldn't like to heat a home in Sweden
