Well apparently they weren't being educated together, or not quite as you'd expect:
BBC News - Derby's Al-Madinah Muslim free school reopens

It was also claimed girls were made to sit at the back of the classroom and boys at the front.

possibly but as its a government funded school with a non religious intake she was perfectly entitled.

Yeah, but...she does it now after the story broke a short while ago about the teacher who felt compelled to leave due to its Muslim ethics which do seem to be fairly well publicised by the school in its manifesto, i.e. jumping on the publicity/gravy train, however I laughed at this:

Al-Madinah, which is one of the Government's flagship free schools, opened in September last year.

Hardly think she is to blame :

And according to a letter sent to the school by Lord Nash, Al-Madinah has failed to keep pupils safe, provide a good education and has discriminated against female staff.

The Schools Minister said that the school had 'manifestly breached' its conditions, and can expect to be closed down if it does not make immediate changes.

Ms Crossley said she was told she couldn't sit near her son at an awards night because women and men would be separated by a partition.

It looks like the school has some serious problems. This isn't the priest talking about Jonah in the assembly this full on religious indoctrination.

He got pulled out of one school for being bullied. She is 53 he is in his teens. She thinks he won't get bullied in a faith school. I have a funny feeling he won't have the same surname as her.

    Unrecognisable

Eh: Mother withdraws son, 14, from Muslim Al-Madinah free school | Mail Online

Jacqueline Crossley, 53, has said her son, who she does not want to be identified
Unless he has a different surname then he's ****ed. Parents these days, just want to be in the Daily Mail with a stupid moronic sob story
