    I recommend:
    The Time Traveller's Wife.
Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. This is a real box of tissues film (in a bad way).

    What about:

    - Rabbit Proof Fence
    - Benjamin Button

I quite liked Pi, it's definitely worth a punt. Stays close to the book too.

If you liked Shawshank, have you watched Green Mile?

Someone mentioned Oh Brother Where Art Thou, I think that's a great shout.

Each to their own and all that but I paid to see this at the cinema and thought it was awful. Might have thought differently seeing it on TV but deffo a waste of money and an evening for me.

I'm starting to think I'm rather too uncritical about films, after moderately enjoying most of Abandoned Mine (2013) before checking the reviews and seeing how totally turkeyish the whole thing was (which in retrospect I agree with).

I missed the last ten minutes, after dozing off (which I almost never do normally while watching a film), and now I can't for the life of me find a plot synopsis to check who, if anyone, survived. Hopefully the fat fecker who went around saying "awesome dude" didn't!

He wasn't so good in The Green Hornet though, although to be fair, no-one was any good in that film.

Tucker and Dale vs Evil has got to be one of the funniest horror type films I have seen in a while!!!!!! I watched it again a short time ago and still make me chuckle.
