If the tweet is racist, it's racist in the context of generalising/stereotyping. That brand of racism is generally due to stupidity/misplaced attempts at humour/thoughtlessness, and rarely due to 'hate'.
My view is that it's more a dig at Apple than at the Chinese. Fruitist.

It seems though that the Mail have gone a bit overboard, once again (apparently Sugar had a bit of a dig at them recently.) The woman never actually made an official complaint but the police wanted, in fact made, her follow it up. They're the idiots here...
