I was just having a look at Iceland - aurora spotting for 4 days comes in at around £500 per person.
I think the cost of food and drink whilst there will exceed the cost of the holiday itself.

Taking a week in November to go to Evia. Just wanted somewhere a bit warmer than home, but not too far away, for a quiet short break. Hopefully we can do a bit of walking in the mountains.
When my contract expires at Christmas we may take a longer break somewhere further afield.
