I doesn't sound as much fun as the ones in East Kent. There the Carnival Queens sit in a wire cage to avoid been hit by the coins hurled at them for charity.

I'm sure more than a few were filed and were thrown by losing contestants.....

I've not been since the early 80s!

Had a good weekend, other than having the house ripped to pieces as the central heating gets installed.

Lay in Saturday morning, cooking Saturday afternoon, eating and drinking Saturday evening.

Sunday visiting Grandmother-in-Law then went for a walk and picked a load of Elderberries, some bugger had already had all the Sloes. Got two gallons of wine on the go now.

They wash their hands? Why not post on the counting thread?

Getting up at 4am for some photography work in Londonistan on Sunday was knackering, both my shoulders have seized up today from carrying around big lenses

Went to lunch at Pater's on Saturday. Nice being in the countryside and SG Junior loves Missy, the lab. And she him.
I'd like to get a dog but can't justify it as long as both working.

No 1 son went back to Uni on Saturday.

On Sunday I spent a large chunk of the day, clearing up/ securely deetling a laptop and external hdd for a friend of the wife's, before returning it to her soon to be ex-husband. Yawn!!!
