In all fairness, when they started the supercar arm they said they'd only produce supercars better in quality than Ferrari. Then they tendered for an army contract with the LM002, using their 4x4 knowledge, the rest was down to not getting the contract. Remember, Lambo's started by making tractors.

Maserati's are all, pretty much, ferrari's anyway, so they can say they'll never build a SUV with impunity, and just build it using Ferrari components, and call it a maser.

And the Jag isn't really a looker is it.

I think you'll find Ferrari aren't like a normal car manufacturer, are they

And if you really do look, look at their FF as 'never doing a 4x4'; could be an indicator things could change.

IMO? There will be a Ferrari SUV in my lifetime.

I actually have always had some sympathy for the cause of environmentalism because I can see that there are real problems; however I think most of the problems are in the developing world where civic institutions aren't strong enough to get environmental issues under control. However, my sympathy is being eroded by many greenies; they're like the new puritans, always on the alert for unclean thoughts. In the past, for the puritans, unclean thoughts were fantasies about sex with the good looking woman down the road, or even the good looking member of the same sex. Nowadays, 'unclean thoughts' are fantasies about blasting around a track in a fast car or eating a big juicy steak.

Indeed; career politicians fannying about with things they don't understand, and amazingly enough there are people who want to make everybody else pay more tax and hand more money to the same idiots.
