    Working in a high rise building looking down at a car park you can see that 90% of cars are black (or a dark shade that's not far off black when viewed from a distance), red or silver.

    Mine is red because the red ones are faster.

    My car is long and black. Lady Tester's car is small and pink. Parked next to each other on the driveway, they look a bit like the set of an interracial porn movie.

    Three cars at this moment, two dark green (one clasic car and the other one is my ltd co car) and one light pastel blue (my private car). I tend to like prefer the light pastel blue because it not conspicuous especially when sneaking in unauthorised car parks.

    Mine's black. It was simply the colour of the car on offer, not necessarily a specific choice. Although I may well have bought a different car if it had been green or yellow.

    I drive a Mini Cooper as my runaround. I don't think pink was an option. Mini red, white roof and white stripes is the best colour scheme so that's what it is

    Dark car colours rise in popularity

    So what colour is yer mota?

    I wanted a Blue Merc but the waiting time was crazy so went for the ubiquitous Black which may be a common issue and slew these results ...any colour you want it as long as it's Black/White or Silver!

    My Aston Martin will be red so fook em

    For the number of people buying black-coloured cars has soared 9% in the last two years, according to an AA/Populus survey of 15,860 AA members.

    Black is now only marginally behind blue as the most popular car colour, with silver the number one hue.

    Red continues to slide down the colour table, losing out to black for third place and slipping to fourth.

    The next most popular colours are green, white, yellow and beige. The results come as the new "63" number plates go on sale.
