    and this

Immigrationboards.com :: View topic - Salary Reduced/Still above app rate/Change of Emp required?

I am on Tier 2 General Visa at the moment (Switched from Tier 1 PSW). My SOC code is 2137 holding the Job title 'Web Designer'. My salary stated on COS is £26040 including allowances. My employer has reduced my salary/allowances and will be paid £20540 after reduction. I would like to know the effects of this change. I have a few questions regarding this:

    1. Will I need to apply for a change of employment? But before that, I have laid down few reasons which I think will not require to apply for. Could you suggest me please.

    - I will be working for the same number of hours per week as stated on the COS

    - I will be still be paid above the appropriate rate which is £20300 for the SOC code 2137

    - Has my issue got to do anything with 'New Entrant' and 'Experienced Worker'? (Because I have come to know from various resources that an applicant switching from Tier 1 PSW to Tier 2 General is considered as a New Entrant by default. Me, nor my employer focused on the rate of pay as my salary is already higher than both New Entrant's and Experienced Worker's rates).
    no abuse then?

Immigrationboards.com :: View topic - Landlord refusing to give letter

I am currently in the process of helping my husband apply for his ILR.

I have collected all documents and have booked an appointment at Liverpool PEO to submit our documents in person.

I have been to a solicitor and they advised what documentation to collect and the one thing I have not been able to secure is a letter from the landlord saying that my husband can live with me. The reason is because I did not add him to the tenancy as they were asking for £250 plus VAT to do this.

He has electricity bills in his name, council tax bills, phone bills, bank statements, payslips, letters from HMRC, professional union etc all in his name.

I am very worried that he may get refused ILR because of the landlord not giving this letter.

    what does she want??

Don't you act all innocent. Once you're been whisked away with some swarthy entrepreneur, then what will become of me?

Agree. How the UK can be so lax I do not know. Are the people processing the visas so bloody stupid that they cannot see though some of the tricks ?

Its no wonder our rates are going down so much when its so easy for people to just pop in.
