We had the green wave (groene golf) for a while but as it's a touristy area there was usually some bastard with caravan pulling away so slowly he's the only one who gets through on green, so they did away with it.
I'm a pretty libertarian kind of guy and I don't like to tell people how to live their lives; you want a caravan, fine, pull a caravan, but why oh why would you buy a big brand new caravan and then try to pull it with a puny 1.3 litre car? Why not buy a slightly cheaper caravan and get a more powerful car that can actually move the damn thing at normal traffic speed?
Cos this one recorded a 56.4% reduction in "killed or seriously injured" accidents in London. That's based on counting them, which is pretty objective.
