    Rough and smooth aint it?

Rough stuff to start with then smooth for final polishing. Like sandpaper for your bum hole.

Yep, generally it's good to read the label for guidance.

EU landfill reduction regs. You don't tear anymore but roll the used paper onto the spare holder like the old style towel rollers. They then resell to Travelodge.

It's an EU regulation to cater for the ambidextrous. It's unfair to force them to wipe with just one hand. If you're not ambidextrous, just keep your prejudices to yourself.

I think you're supposed to take one piece from each and layer them.

Did it have the end folded into a point as well?

I would use whichever took your fancy - you're paying the bill. If you choose the wrong one though prepare for the footage to be laughed at by the hotel staff when they watch all the replays in the morning.

Assuming you are faced with two seperate holders then I think you should use the one nearest your preferred hand. Right handed - right. Left handed - left. Assuming two rolls on one of them Tower of Hanoi arrangements then you should know to use the top roll first. (then move it)
Under no circumstances use the Izal.

started a topic Toilet roll ettiquette

    Toilet roll ettiquette

Staying in a half decent, although slightly pretentious hotel this week. Nip into the ensuite for a tulip only to be confronted with 2 toilet rolls i.e. on roll holders, as opposed to having a spare lying around.

Is there any ettiquette as to which I use? (And yes, I am goddamn bored).

Working...
