Couldn't you use those sand/water cutters instead of a laser? Or too messy/industrial for a hobbyist?

Nope, restraints are mostly straps & I have a strap cutter for that, this would be to do steampunk style projects.Originally posted by vetran View PostThis for 'restraint' items?

I've absolutely no experience of this kind of toy but I would be so impressed if that got through 6mm plate
From a quick google a 35watt laser is - how shall I put it- a little on the light side power wise and may I add somewhat demeaning for a Contractors forum - you may be better off getting hold of a military grade 100kW jobbie (ask AtW for details)
Utmost kudo's for bringing this to my attention & sorry I couldn't be of more help (may be worth your while visiting a trade show for demos)
Warmest Regards x
But IIRC the way to go is
3 x military laser
1 x mining laser
1 x fuel scoop

OK so not 6mm in metal plate, the leather & acrylic may go that thick but plate would max out at 1.2mmOriginally posted by Troll View PostI've absolutely no experience of this kind of toy but I would be so impressed if that got through 6mm plate
Nah if things get that bad it would be an industrial blender: saves on the clean-up billOriginally posted by EternalOptimist View PostHalo, just chop him up with an axe, and saw some bits off. then bury him. bye bye BBG, youse was a nice guy
