Prices must have gone up unless they vary regionally then.

Dunno about KFC (I hate it) but you can barely get a Meal for £5 in McDonalds so I'd assume BK is £7-8 for a Whopper meal... shame as I actually like BK burgers but refuse to pay that much when I could get a deli sandwich for less money.

Are you sure you're not looking at Motorway Services prices. I know Burger King and KFC are extortionate there.

Yes Kal it's the same with Kosher, but Kosher doesnt dominate my high street in most restaurants and takeaways (including high street KFC etc)..

It's got nothing to do with islamofascistphobia or whatever.

My turkeys were killed Halal this year. I didn't mean to, but no matter how many times I twatted them with a cricket stump, I couldn't knock the heathen feckers out.

I thought you were a Christian. Isn't there an aspect of Christianity that has something to do with compassion for animals? Perhaps there isn't.

I don't think I was doing anything with zeal but yes.

In fact, I tend to avoid meat unless I know it's locally sourced and the meat has some provenance. The stories I hear about halal meat being offered up to unsuspecting consumers in all kinds of outlets appall me.
