No. 303 Polish Fighter Squadron - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
It annoys me when people whinge about the polish, all of the ones I've met are bloody hard working and round my way I see quite a few polish builders vans because they've started their own businesses and are doing well.
Apologies for the rant but it really annoys me how some people with no grasp of history want to demonise people that quite honestly we should be welcoming with open arms.

A bit of Polish history but in a British context.
The parts we learnt about the people around us and the buildings were the most interesting. There as learning about the Normans when there are no bloody Norman castles where I grew up was f***king boring.

Now that is about 1,000 years apart.

Inclined to agree with the "other side" on that one. The empire was appalling. I see nothing positive about invading other people's countries and imposing our "enlightened" civilisation on them. The best you can say about the British empire was that some others were far worse.
