It would be great if all MPs and Councillors (and people that want to become them) automatically have a chip embedded in their greedy skulls that twitters their every waking, selfish thought. Interviews would be great e.g.

Interviewer: "Now Ray Morgan, Chief Executive of Woking Borough Council, as a man who has been solely involved in the public sector for 30 years, you've been spending a lot of time recently promoting the use of renewal energy around the area, what is your particular interest in that?"

Ray Morgan's Twitter Account: "Don't ask me about Thameswey, don't ask me about Thameswey, don't ask me about Thameswey..."

Interviewer: "Ah, I see from your Twitter account you are the CEO of the renewals company Thameswey that have used Woking's taxpayer's money to build CHP and solar panels to supply "green" power to offices...."

Ray Morgan's Twitter Account: "Please don't mention Milton Keynes, please don't mention Milton Keynes..."

Interviewer: "Oh, and supplying Milton Keynes?!?! WTF?!?!? Why are you using Woking resident's money to build renewable power for Milton Keynes?"

Ray Morgan's Twitter Account: "Please don't mention Chris Huhne's recent ruling that allows Councils across the UK to sell renewable electricity to the grid..."

Interviewer: "So you are CEO of a renewables company that has just had legislation overturned to profit from selling renewable energy to the UK?"

Ray Morgan's Twitter Account: "Don't mention Feed-In Tarrifs (FITs) and the low efficiency of CHP and solar"

Interviewer: "So, you take taxpayers money to subsidise the 10% efficient solar panels covering a large canopy and 25% efficient CHP (car engine effectively) units to sell to the grid when a 60% thermal efficient CCGT plant would be cheaper and produce less CO2 per KWh, while £44.7m of taxpayers money had been "invested" in Thameswey while only £941,000 had been repaid with a £21/year reduction in council tax?"

    etc etc

no, was with the operations department yesterday afternoon with some of the brightest users in a multi billion business explaining the basics of object orientated programming, real basic stuff like creating referencing objects you would have thought I had started explaining Alchemy.

Most people 'get technology' its there to serve them, many don't care how it works, I don't suppose your granny knows how led or LCD technology works yet she uses it, I'm not going to call her stupid.

bet there was some quick covering up done there.
The tweet was deleted very quickly. Unfortunately somebody's written a bot which continuously monitors MPs' Twitter streams (of all parties), and retweets a copy of the original when they delete a tweet

BBC News - MP Rob Wilson in accidental porn link tweet

A Conservative MP has surprised his Twitter followers by inadvertently posting a link to a pornography site.

Reading East MP Rob Wilson had meant to direct users to a blog post discussing a BBC interview with the Work and Pensions Secretary Iain Duncan Smith.

He said Conservative Campaign HQ (CCHQ) sent him a shortened link to make it easier to tweet but it instead linked to the X-rated site.

bet there was some quick covering up done there.

Working...
