4 trips booked. 74 nights away in the next four months.
Oh what joy. Least that's gold status on BA and a fook of a load Hilton points. :-)

Anyway in that case you have penty of time to retire and then go back to work to fill the void in my life, before chasing permie jobs abroad, in your early-40s as I have done.

Yes, but I'm 20 years younger than you and still have the energy.Originally posted by sasguru View PostI would hate your life. Well and truly a slave of the system.
Surely the whole point of contracting is to earn lots of wonga while doing as little as possible.

Why do you want to get out of this?
Surely an escape from your dreary home life would be very welcome? Esp. in sunny California.
Carpe Diem

You are a contractor, if you don't want to do it don't.......Originally posted by MarillionFan View PostFor the next 3 months!
I bloody knew that was going to happen at some time.
Major project I'm working on goes live in July and the vast majority of work has to be done in April, May, June. Last night my boss said that he wanted me stateside for those months embedded in a 'warroom' to ensure the project is a success as working remote/late is not the best way of working.
Suggestions on how to get out of this.

Fake your own death and then apply for the vacancy with a false moustache and strong Mexican accent, repeat with a bigger moustache and stronger accent every time they ask you to go the US?
