Strange how most of our sportsmen go crock at a early age... Beckham & Rooneys toes, Owen & Vaughans knees etc.

Is the problem:

Genetic - we are de-evolving - no natural selection of the fittest
Workload- we are asking too much compared to earlier sportmen
Protection -modern foot wear is wrong design for stresses of todays sport
