I had to be on clientco site in London this morning. All part of the job.
Left to come home 2 pm, just before the railways started to melt down.
Or whatever the snowy equivalent is.

Our clientco have the draconian mindset that WFH is Verboten, especially to IT staff with VPN. One bod out in the sticks was forced to take a day's annual leave as WFH was denied.
Fast forward to 10:00am today and management decreed that we could go home.
