That's the 'plenty cheapness'. You see, 'plenty cheapness' is a simple (for us) mathematical formula; just as 1 isn't much, but 100*1= 100, which is quite a lot, 'cheapness' doesn't cost much, but when multiplied by 'plenty' it becomes quite a lot of money. Obviously, we can't expect managermen to understand such advanced mathematical concepts as multiplication, so having seen the 'cheapness' they assume the total purchase will be cheap.Originally posted by bobspud View PostSorry who told you using many bobs was a cheap idea? The huge planning delays in Bob projects can thus be explained by solving the 'much quickness' equation.

given that a lot of us on here work on projects
and many of us will also have seen how failry simple projects can end up taking 2-3 years
why does anyone think that sorting the country out is going to be a quick fix?
my view is that it will take at least 5 years and probably 10-15.
but the problem is as already stated the proles will want a change and so ed the duck will get in and potentially change the focus and thus the 5 years of good work that has been done will go down the pan
I think we (the people) should vote on 3 or 4 main proirities and the government (whoever is in power) should stick to that - so in essence the government implement the changes the people want rather than doing what the feck the feel like while lining their own pockets
won't ever happen like!

Would still be useless but at least their expenses would be cheap.

I voted Tory all my life until last election. Then I voted for candidate who sounded most like a bond villian(Dr Tool - Lib Dem).Originally posted by Troll View PostSplitter!
But if the MP has been very good I reckon he deserves support. And IMO its make no difference if you vote Tory or Labour. The rot started after maggie left. All the things I detested about Labour were started by Tory. ACT removal, fuel escalator.
Maybe Labour did start spending loads of money on civil servants we can't afford and not only add nothing, they drag the private sector down with red tape. But what have the Tories done about it? Nothing....

At a macro level this is true - and Labour would not have been any better.Originally posted by Spacecadet View Postit's not getting any worse though which is at least something in their favour
but the proles are getting fed up with the economy flatlining and their standard of living getting eroded. Inflation on basic items is high. Wage rises almost flat.
Let up hope everyone follows DP's advice and votes UKIP.
I am going to vote Labour next time! I never thought I would - but the MP has been very good about section 58 issues.

So far they have been a total disaster with little sign of making things better.
