given that a lot of us on here work on projects

and many of us will also have seen how failry simple projects can end up taking 2-3 years

why does anyone think that sorting the country out is going to be a quick fix?

my view is that it will take at least 5 years and probably 10-15.

but the problem is as already stated the proles will want a change and so ed the duck will get in and potentially change the focus and thus the 5 years of good work that has been done will go down the pan

I think we (the people) should vote on 3 or 4 main proirities and the government (whoever is in power) should stick to that - so in essence the government implement the changes the people want rather than doing what the feck the feel like while lining their own pockets

        won't ever happen like!

That's the 'plenty cheapness'. You see, 'plenty cheapness' is a simple (for us) mathematical formula; just as 1 isn't much, but 100*1= 100, which is quite a lot, 'cheapness' doesn't cost much, but when multiplied by 'plenty' it becomes quite a lot of money. Obviously, we can't expect managermen to understand such advanced mathematical concepts as multiplication, so having seen the 'cheapness' they assume the total purchase will be cheap.

The huge planning delays in Bob projects can thus be explained by solving the 'much quickness' equation.
And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014
