I watched Scum again quite recently - I bought the DVD set with the original BBC play, which wasn't shown for many years because it was felt to be too violent, as well as the film. They're both excellent, if exceedingly brutal.

Nil By Mouth? Storming in Sexy Beast. Managed to stay on the screen somehow next to Ben Kingsley's terrifying Don Logan too.
