    By your logic England could simply choose to leave the EU thus England would get what it wants and Scotland wouldn't.

    Realistically Scotland will remain in the EU, the terms of their membership is what might be affected.

    Realistically it's not going to happen anyway.

    Scotland and the EU

    It may be just spreading FUD, but some people are busy claiming that an independent Scotland would not automatically remain in the EU, whereas England, sorry the UK, would.


    A recent poll shows that, if they were given the chance to vote on the EU, the English would vote to leave the EU, and the Scots would vote to stay in theEU.

    So it looks like nobody is going to get what they want.
