If dept stores don't have what you want, try a specialist luggage retailer e.g.:

    Accessories at Case Luggage

That one has a chain of shops.

Mine is on its way out, don't want to buy online as I need to see how it feels in my hand before I buy one, ideally I would actually like two, a wallet for cash and a few key cards I use most days, and a purely card wallet.

Might kill two birds with one stone and get one of these cases for my iPhone which means I just need a decent card wallet.

I think he meant Harvey nicks but that depends if you are a Sheffield or Leeds man.

You mean TK Maxx or Primark?

Great contractor minds think alike - at present my dosh is stashed in a Paul Smith black-on-the-outside-stripes-on-the-inside one, though it took me ages to find somewhere that had it in stock.

If not Paul Smith, Richard James (of James & James) would be my choice.

Fair enough. I used to work above their bond street shop 16 years ago and got whopping great discounts due to knowing the landlords.

As for Smythson personally I'd go for Mulberry.
Mulberry has become a tad too fashionable and isn't as good quality anymore. Its also hideously expensive because of that.
